He is survived by: his wife Belvia S. Cress Short; his son William Short (Melinda) of Lexington; and his siblings, Shannon Short (Misty), Cliston Short of Louisville, Enis Short of Cumberland, Teleda McCall of Eolia and Shandeal Fields of Louisville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.
