It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Owens (Cumberland, Kentucky), who passed away on August 12, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Ray Owens; her sons, Rick Owens, Gary Owens and David Owens; and her siblings, Clayton Phillips, George Phillips, Earl Phillips, Bill Phillips, Nell Myers and Faye Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Owens (Beverly) of Richmond, KY, Chrissy McKenzie (Joey) of Louisville, KY, Sherry Sturgill (Rodney) of Cumberland, KY and Kimberly Owens of Cumberland, KY; and her sister Louise Shephard of Cumberland, KY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family and friends.
