She was predeceased by: her husband George Banyas, Jr.; her parents, Howard McCurry and Della Johnson McCurry; and her siblings, Howard McCurry, Jr., Ronald McCurry, Donald McCurry, Mildred Ramsey, Ruth McCurry and Margaret DeVane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Banyas Miller and Wendy Banyas Powers (Charlie); her sister Myrlene Himes (Moe) of Fishers, IN; her grandchildren, George Powers (Marsha), Tyler Powers (Randi) of Portsmouth, VA, Farrah Estes (Terry) of Waxhaw, NC and Seth Miller (Molly) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Sydney Powers, Tori, Westyn Estes, Eleanor, Alice Jean Miller, Whitney Estes, Tyler Shackleford and Michael Robinson.
