He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Thomas and Daisy Mae Watson Riggs; his wife Dorothy Mae Hawks Riggs; his siblings, Jimmy Riggs, Irene Logsdon and Flora Mae Heath; his son-in-law Gordon Cottrell; and his grandchildren, Darren Cottrell, Amie Price and Johnna Price.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Cottrell and Gracie Price (Johnny); his grandchildren, David Cottrell, Brian Cottrell (Rebeccia), Shaun, Amber Logsdon (Randy) and Joshua Price; his great grandchildren, Sierra Logsdon (Christian Meredith), Shelby Logsdon, Serenna Logsdon, Morgan Sexton (Jake), Calib Cottrell (Jaylyn), Gauge Cottrell, Kyle Cottrell, Sierra Cartman (Danny), Austin Cottrell, Boomer Cottrell, Taylor Loy, Chase Hinderer, Jamie Hinderer and Andrea Clark (Mike); and his great great grandchildren, Collin, Karsyn, Jayden, Mia, Dawson and Francis.
