She was predeceased by: her spouse Damon Hawkins; her son Jeffery Hawkins; her parents, Chester Meredith and Ora McDowell Meredith; and her sister Joyce Jaggers.
She is survived by: her siblings, Peggy Wilson (Dwayne) of Mammoth Cave, KY, Chester "Cecil" Meredith (Linda) of Cub Run, KY, Larry Meredith of Brownsville, KY and Russell Meredith (Cheryl) of Cub Run, KY; and her brother-in-law Leon Jaggers of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
