He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Newcomb and Viola Sapp Newcomb; his brothers, Johnny Newcomb, Gene Newcomb, Jim Newcomb, Randall Newcomb, Jerry Newcomb and Joe Newcomb; and his half-brother G. E. Newcomb.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Deering (David) of Campbellsville and Elaine Gerwitz (Bobby) of Shepherdsville; his grandchildren, Brandon Gerwitz of Lebanon Junction, Makayla Deering, Macy Deering and Maddie Deering of Campbellsville; his great grandchild Kaydan Gerwitz of Lebanon Junction; and his siblings, Catherine Raffety, Sue Yates (Jody) of Campbellsville and Luther Newcomb (Ailine) of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
