He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Basham and Ann Marie Scott Basham; his brother Robert Basham; and his grandson Levi Chase Basham. He is survived by: his children, William Douglas Jr. Basham (Tabitha) of Mt. Vernon, Christopher Basham (Brittney) of Cromwell, Brian Basham of Alexandria and Lori Basham of Frankfort, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jordan Hancock (Dylan), Logan Basham, Landan Basham, Timothy Basham, Andria Basham, Conner Basham, Brayden Basham, Justin Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan, Aaron Basham, Ariyana Basham, Aaliyah Banks and Kaylee Basham; his great grandchild Wyatt Basham; and his nieces, Jackie Stalbaum of Lowell and Jennifer Poor of Shelby, Indiana..
