It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil Bentley of Cromona, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bentley and Agnes Smallwood Bentley; and his brothers, James Bentley, Earl David Bentley, Carl Newsome and Monroe Newsome.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Potter of Solomon and Anna Bentley of Mousie; his siblings, Cam Bentley of McRoberts, Daniel Newsome of Georgia, Virgie Bentley of Kingsport, Christine Kiser of Illinois, Dorothy Newsome of Florida and Josie Thornhill of Somerset; and his grandchildren, Malaki Johnson, Kelsey Bentley, Allie Bentley, Tristan Wright, Chester Wright and Aiden Holland.
