She was predeceased by: her grandmother Gaye; and her parents, Raymond P. Gentry and Catherine Gentry. She is survived by: her significant other Robert Wayne "Bob" White; her sons, Floyd Ray Forbes, Jr. (Susan), Melvin Thomas Forbes (Michelle), Randall Keith Forbes (Dawn) and Albert Daniel Forbes (Sonya); her grandchildren, TJ Forbes, Amanda Forbes, Jerry Forbes, Daniel Forbes, Carol Ann Kursave, Nichole Forbes, Elijah Forbes and Abby-Grace Forbes; and her siblings, Florene Faye Gentry Alexander, Evelyn Graham Rivet, Deborah Carrol, Louise Rickard, Raymond Earl, Terry, Sammy and Lonnie Gentry. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
