It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Bell McGar of Crofton, Kentucky, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Linda Lou Bell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bernard Bell and Stella Frances Skaggs Bell; and her spouse Marion Elgin "Diddy" McGar Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Scott McGar (Sara) of Crofton, KY, Laura Knight (Clifford) of Crofton, KY, Pamela Barnett (Robbie) of Benton, KY and Jennifer Cansler (Chris) of Crofton, KY. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; her 20 great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
