It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Roy Atkinson of Crofton, Kentucky, born in Nortonville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Atkinson and Minnie Atkinson; his wife Nancy; and his sister Beatrice McDuffie. He is survived by: his children, Kim Franz (Phil) of Macomb, Kerri Harmon (Darwin) of Crofton, Kentucky and Kellee Atkinson (Lisa) of Surprise, Arizona.; his grandsons, Jeffrey Pendland (Annie) of Oviedo, Robert Franz of Clinton Township and Daniel Deren of Foreston, Minnesota.; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Chloe, Camden Roy Pendland, Brooke Simmons and Rhyker Hart.
