She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Ross Gamble and Mable Jackson Gamble; her husband Charles Henry Johnston; and her son Michael Alan Johnston. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Johnston Sampley (Doug) of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister Helen Blane of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter-in-law Janice Long Johnston of Crofton, KY; her grandchildren, Lauren Renee Johnston, Callie Johnston Stewart and Jon Michael Johnston; and her great grandchild Rowan Henry Bermudez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
