It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward R. Soyk of Crofton, Kentucky, born in Mayville, Michigan, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Soyk and Mary Gatny Soyk; his wife Norma Rogers Soyk; and his brothers, Henry Soyk and Paul Soyk.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Soyk (Terry) of Athens, AL, Debra Soyk of Portsmouth, VA and Stasha Arocha (Christopher) of Haymarket, VA; and his sister Jean Plezia of Michigan. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Luke's Free Clinic or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
