He was predeceased by: his parents, Holbert Henry Johnston and Cecil Glinnis "Patty" Meacham Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Faye Gamble Johnston of Crofton, KY; his children, Michael Alan Johnston (Janice) of Crofton, KY and Karen Johnston Sampley (Doug) of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Lauren Renee Johnston, Callie Johnston Stewart and Jon Michael Johnston; and his great grandchild Rowan Henry Bermudez.
