He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cony McClure and Alma Perkins Walters; his former wife Mildred Dixon Walters; his son Greg Walters; his stepson Charles Dwayne Wilburn; and his sisters, Rosemary Walters Williams and Betty Sue Walters West.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Walters; and his sisters, Barbara Walters Cook (Harry) of Corinth, KY, Lillian Walters Hamm (Herman) of Dry Ridge, KY and Lois Walters Nickels of Dry Ridge, KY.. He is also survived by Five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery in Williamstown, KY Memorial contributions may be made in Wilbert's memory to St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center in care of Stanley Funeral Homes.
