It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia McDowell of Crittenden, Kentucky, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Plez Newcom and Erma Dempsey Newcom; and her husband Guy McDowell Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert McDowell (Ann) of Madisonville, KY, William McDowell (Laura), Sharon Maddox of Marion, KY, Mayree Sherer (Dwight) of Marion, KY, Cynthia Jett (Maurice) and Thompson (John) of St. Mary's, GA.; and her half-brother Roger Newcom (Marilyn) of Marble Falls, TX.. She is also survived by Grandchildren 13 – Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.
