It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Kathleen Courtney of Crittenden, Kentucky, born in Livingston, Kentucky, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Tackett and Ida Tackett; her husband Leslie Richard Courtney; and her daughters, Donna Sue Jacks and Kathy Steele.
She is survived by: her sons, Boyd Dean Courtney of Crittenden and Rick Courtney of Crittenden; and her siblings, Robert Tackett of Walton, Ray Tackett of Taylor Mill, Mag Overbay of Independence and Alma Beach of Carrollton. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
