She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson Pettit and Vella Lou Franks Pettit; her husband Eli Cavins; and her siblings, Lawrence Pettit, Mary Mildred Pettit and Jean Menefee.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Brummer (Jon) of Florence, KY., Larry Wayne Cavins (Connie) of Mt. Zion, KY., Barry Cavins of Mt. Zion, KY. and David Cavins of Mt. Zion, KY.; and her grandchildren, Susan Hollar, Melissa McGuire, Justin Cavins, Crystal Cavins and Christie Cavins. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
