He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlene Ellis Colson and Jasper "Jackie" Colson; his daughters, Jessica Colson of Crittenden, KY. and Jennifer McFarland (Zachary) of Florence, KY.; his stepchildren, William Scalf and Joanie Scalf; and his grandchildren, Jasper Colson Roach and Rory Colson.
