Dennis Campbell Obituary
Dennis Campbell, 56, of Crittenden, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. He was a retired firefighter who served on the Ludlow Fire department for 18 years, 6 of those as the Assistant Chief and 2 as the Fire chief. He also spent 4 years on the Northern Kentucky Arson Taskforce. Dennis was a devoted, loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He was a good Christian man and was youth minister at Church of God. Dennis loved the outdoors and spending time on his front porch swing (which he called the swing of wisdom). He also loved talking with friends and family and he loved sitting in his big recliner. Dennis volunteered for 15 years with Ludlow Youth Football and coached for 30 years in Northern Kentucky.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Linda Campbell of Crittenden; son, Devon Burkhart of Erlanger; daughters, Katie Burkhart of California, KY, Loran Egan of Independence, Emily (Austin) Courtney of Independence; brothers, Howard Campbell of Ludlow, Josh (Erica) Campbell of Ludlow; sisters, Rachel (Alan) Shields of Falmouth, Rebecca Campbell of Falmouth and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation is on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 12:00 PM until the hour of Service at 2:00 PM all in New Hope Tabernacle Church of God, 1400 Walton Nicholson Road, Walton, KY.
