He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Dean Chapman and Evelyn Mary Kesselring Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Michael Jones (Tish) of Cincinnati, OH and Lisa Nicole Epperson (Tony) of Dry Ridge, KY; his sister Mary Ann Chapman; his nephew Mark Kraczek (Joanie Hess); and his pet Brutus. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
