He is survived by: his parent Ruby Haley Courtney; his wife Linda Jane Tracy Courtney; his children, Michael Courtney (Doris) of Tennessee, John Courtney of Crittenden, Eddy Courtney of Crittenden, Rudy Courtney of Crittenden, Chonda Pierce of Tennessee and Samantha Courtney Davis of Tennessee; his siblings, Jerry Courtney of Dry Ridge, Peggy Ammon of Burlington and Diane McNeely of Burlington; his grandchildren, Josh Courtney, Jacob Courtney, Cherykay Courtney and Zachary Courtney; his daughter Crystal Whitworth (Ricky) of Crittenden; his grandchildren, Vadelity Whitworth, Madison Whitworth, Keagan Whitworth, Creighton Whitworth, Everly Whitworth, Addeline Whitworth and Jennavisia Whitworth; and his significant other Dewey "Junior" Oaks of Crittenden.
