She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Griffin and Modena McCoy Northcutt; her husband Charles Evan Chance; and her siblings, Dora Evalyn Littleton, Margaret "Kee" Sayers, Rosemary Clements and James Clifton Northcutt.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Chance, Melinda Chance, Kathryn Chance, Mary Lee Chance Smith (Nathan), Mark Chance (Jackie Masters) and Brian Chance (Rae); her grandchildren, Kyle Evan Chance, Lee Michael Chance, Evan Michael Chance, Charles Chance Smith, Nathaniel Griffin Smith, Dora Holley Smith and Rose Northcutt Smith; her brothers, William Forrest Northcutt and Hobart Lawson Northcutt; her sister-in-law Mary Agnes Chance Snow; and her friends, Dorothy Gordon Altman and Charles. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
