He is survived by: his children, Alan Thompson (Teresa), Sharon Zamler and Chuck Thompson; and his grandchildren, Christopher Thompson (Bobbie), Jennifer Striet (Jeff), Jessica Bowman (Jedediah), Nick Thompson (Trina) and Ellyse Hersch (Evan). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
