He was predeceased by: his parents, James Norris and Eva (Haycraft); his wife Ruth; his daughter Billie Gail; and his siblings, Noble, Elsie Hamilton and Bobbie Edwards.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Baylis; his grandchildren, Heather Jones (Robert), Heath Jones (Megan) and Hilary Jones; his great grandchild Hayden Jones; his nephews, Larry Norris (Karen), Terry Norris (Ginger) and Joe Hamilton III (KimberLee); and his niece Barbara Fouts.
