He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Jones and Maddie Pearl Mahoney Jones; his wife Margaret Virginia "Jenny" Jones; his daughter Billie Jo Jones; his siblings, Dottie Anderson, Martha Kendall, Ruby Hedges, Lonnie Jones, Jimmy Jones, Jerry Wayne Jones and Jackie Jones; and his stepson James Caudill.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Cena (Ernie) of Crestwood, Linda Smith of Shelbyville and Jimmy Jones (Melinda) of Worthville; his siblings, Larry Jones (Rose) of Bethlehem, Richard "Dickie" Jones (Wanda) of Jeffersontown, Juanita Hedges of Vine Grove and Joyce Lawson of Ecru, MS; his stepchildren, Jewell Wagers (George) of Manchester, Eddie Caudill (Edith) of Manchester and Mark Caudill of Shelbyville; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Jones and Faye Jones. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
