He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Dee Tapp (Simpson) and William Arch Tapp, Sr.; and his brothers, William Arch Tapp, Jr. (Billy), Herman Tapp and Johnny Tapp.
He is survived by: his sister Noralee Moock (Tommy, Sr.); his significant other Berenda Burns; and his children, Robert L. From-Tapp, Jr. (Allison From-Tapp), Shawn Tapp (Laura Tapp), Anne Brownell (Michael Brownell), Denise Tapp (Todd McCullough) and Jackie Smith (James Smith). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.
