He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harlan Coomer and Annie Mae Coomer (Norris); and his siblings, Delsie Lewis, Gerald Ralph Coomer, Raymond Coomer and Ottie Dale Coomer.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Coomer; his sons, James Allen Coomer and Larry Keith Coomer (Debbie); his stepsons, Garnie LaFever (Tina), Eric LaFever and Steven LaFever (Amanda); his brother Donnie Wayne Coomer; and his stepsister Phyllis Coomer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Chapel (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crystal Community Cemetery.
