He was predeceased by: his father Ferenc Farkas. He is survived by: his mother Maria Farkas; his sister Zsuzsanna Lorincz (Albert); his nephew Albert Lorincz Jr. (Lora); and his nieces, Zsuzsanna Costanzo (Jamie) and Izabella Sullivan (Ben). He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephew.
