He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Swallows and Mary Swallows; his wife Ruby J. Swallows; and his siblings, Edward "Junior" Swallows, Bobby Swallows, James Brent Swallows, Joyce Farris, Clara Ellen Swallows and Patricia Colglazier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Petroski (Scott), Dana Valdez (Chris) and RaDonna Reid (Sammy Davis); his grandchildren, Anna Jimenez (Judah), Clayton Petroski (Chynna), Leah Seward (Kevin Griffin), Jackson Petroski (Kasey), Jacob Reid, Abbey Reid and Ethan Seward; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Eli, Naomi Jimenez, Elayna, Selena, Oakley, Nadia Ruby Petroski, Kinsley Reid and Tinley Griffin; and his sisters, Rena Striegel (Bob) and Arlene Bottorff.
