She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Shankland and Katherine Shankland; and her daughter Cathy "Joy" Day. She is survived by: her son Ace; her grandchildren, Matthew, Faith and Alicia; her great grandchildren, Kaylee and Jordan; her nieces, Sheree and Diane; and her son-in-law Richard.
