It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Helen Cassell of Crestwood, Kentucky, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Evelyn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her husband Glen E. Cassell; her sons, Larry (Cheryl) and Michael (Jill); her granddaughter Laura Clay (Chris); her great grandchild Garand Clay; and her siblings, Carol Marshall, Harold (Mildred) and Louise (Eurie). She is also survived by seven Nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Stoess Funeral Home (6534 State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014).
