Barbara J. Hanusin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Barbara J. Hanusin of Crestwood, Kentucky, born in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Shampack and Veronica Foris Shampack; her husband George; and her siblings, Joseph Shampack, Michael Shampack, Ellen Wolfran, Rita Tibus and Lois Koval.
She is survived by: her children, Marita Clark (Stephen) and Michael Hanusin (Jan); her grandchildren, Mariah Clark, Samantha Clark (Tristen Bare) and Matthew Clark; and her sister Faith Yurgatis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home (1442 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, PA 18704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:35 PM to 12:50 PM at the Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery (271 Tripp St, Swoyersville, PA 18704).
The family kindly requests that floral offerings be omitted and that memorial contributions be made in Barbara's memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
