He is survived by: his wife Dian Kay Hummel; his children, Debra Kazmierzak (Guy), Trina Zimmer (Jim) and Brian Hershberger (Angie); his grandchildren, Dustin Nisley, Drew Nisley, Morgan Coleman, Mackenzie Sherrard, Skye Clark, Kevin Hershberger and Kristin Kreider; his great grandchildren, Barret, Maddox Nisley, Zak, Zoe, Saylor Nisley, Finn, Nora Coleman and Karlie Kreider; and his brother Kenneth. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Baptist Health Hospital, 4000 Kresge Way, Louisville, Kentucky 40207.
