With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan M. Wurtenberger of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on January 5, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Deye and Margaret Deye (Kelly); her husband Howard "Buddy" Wurtenberger; and her siblings, Jerome Deye, Thomas Deye, Dennis Deye, Martin Deye and Jennifer Deye.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Wurtenberger (Chris), David Wurtenberger (Joan), Martha Barnes (Kevin) and Amy Beck (George); her brother Steve Deye; her sisters-in-law, Jean Deye and Jane Deye; and her grandchildren, Mark Wurtenberger (Liz), Erik Wurtenberger (Angie), Claire Campagna (Tony), Emily Schott (Nick), Kaitlyn Restle (Kyle), Lauren Sullivan (Johnny) and Kyle Beck. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (348 Dudley Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
