He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Thelen of Crestview Hills; his children, Jay Thelen (Ann) of Ft. Wright, Mike Penker (Carmen) of Bradenton, FL, Steve Penker (Becci) of Hyde Park, OH, John Penker, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, Maribeth Harper (Denis) of Kensington, MD, Jenny Regan (Tim) of Baltimore, MD, Becky Cipollone (Pat) of Bethesda, MD and Patricia Penker of Miami, FL; and his brothers, Gerald Thelen (Bonnie), Jim Thelen (Marita) and Don Thelen (Sharon). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
