He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sommerkamp, Sr. and Laura Nienaber Sommerkamp; and his siblings, Paul, Bill Sommerkamp and Esther Averdick.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sommerkamp of Crestview Hills; and his children, Dr. Greg Sommerkamp (Abby) of Edgewood, Daria Nantista of Crestview Hills and Tara Santry (Rick) of Allendale, NJ. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
