It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orpha Virginia Pendery of Crescent Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byrd Scott Sr. and Vira Ellen Goode-Scott; her husband Richard Pendery; her children, Richard Pendery Jr., Robert Pendery and Patricia Lynch; and her siblings, Jewell Seals, Mae Cain, Katrine Cain, Patricia Waldron, Bob Scott, Ira Scott and Morris Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Pendery, Marilyn Bolton, Mabel Havlin (Michael), Orpha Moffett (Ritchie) and Nancy Higgins (Doyle); and her brothers, Pete Scott, Eugene Scott (Carol) and John Byrd Scott Jr. (Buddy). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
