He is survived by: his wife Diane King Ponder; his children, Ginger Leigh Mark (Raymond) of DeLand, Melissa Dianne Mark (Earl) of DeLeon Springs and Jamie Lynn Edwards (Gabriel) of DeLand, Florida; his brothers, Oscar Lee Ponder (Lynn) of Montana and Mike Wade Ponder (Jeanie) of Florida; his sister-in-law Sue Ponder; his niece LeAnn Simpson (Bryan); his grandchildren, Christopher Mark (Erika), Megan Mark, Sommer Proctor (Chris), Sidney Rohr (Colleen), Matthew Mark (Haley), Michael Mark, Alek Rohr and Deklin Rohr; and his great grandchildren, Jameson Rohr, Wyatt J. Proctor and Baby Rohr.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Creelsboro Christian Church (4305 KY-379, Jamestown, KY 42629).
