He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harris and Zella Harris (Denney); and his son-in-law David Elder. He is survived by: his wife Doris Harris (McClure); his children, Sharon Harris Elder, Jean Harris Genton (Arthur) and John; his grandchildren, Kenneth Shane Adams, Melissa Adams Hawkins (Michael), Amanda Genton Hewes (Forrest), Matthew Genton-Kellie, Brittany Harris Mathews (George) and Lauryn Harris; his great grandchildren, Katie Cox McGlothlin (Gabe), Lily Genton, Briar Genton, Bryce Mathews, Hannah Mathews and Caylene Hewes; and his great great grandchild Kynlee McGlothlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Caswell Saufley American Legion Post # 18 of Stanford or to the Charging Forward for America.
