He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Shelton, Sr. and Every Adams Shelton; and his sister Dorothy Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kay Ledford Shelton; his children, Randall (Tasha Price Rodney) and Laura Price Candace (Jeremy Smith Dustin); his brother Paul, Jr. (Rhonda Shelton); and his grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Abigail, Trinity, Annabelle, Peyton, Caden, Kinsley, Skyelar, Connor, Asher and Jonah.
