He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Marie Wilber Lawson; his parents, Frank Lawson and Dora Fee Lawson; his son John Allen Lawson; and his siblings, Marie Lawson and William Lawson (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Dennis Dover of Maynardville, TN; his granddaughter Amanda Lawson; his siblings, Jan Whitaker (Eugene) and Harry James "Jim" Lawson (Lecreta); his sister-in-law Debbie Sizemore (Gerry); his nephew Jimmy Lawson; his nieces, Anndrea Plamp, Chassidy Reynolds, Theresa Mosier and Kim Vaughn; and his brothers, Robby Herrington and Tony Hughes. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his church family.
