She was predeceased by: her parents, Freddie McGill and Lona McGill; her husband James A. Wells, Sr.; her daughter Jo Mann; her sister Mary Dot Dennis; and her son-in-law Ronnie Kelien.

She is survived by: her children, James A. "Allen" Wells, Jr. (Kathy), Betsy Kelien, Jana Lyons (Jim) and Cara Stigger (Bruce); and her son-in-law Garry Mann. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Crusade for Children, Twisted Pink, or Riverview Baptist Church.
