He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Popplewell and Ada Tapp Popplewell. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Bailey Popplewell; his daughter Stephanie Popplewell; and his siblings, Bob Popplewell (Debbie) of Stanford, Patsy Coleman of Casey County and Judy Rice of New Jersey.
