He was predeceased by: his father Ernest "Piggy" Jackson; his former wife Wanda Foster Jackson; his wife Jewell Owen Jackson; and his siblings, Clayton Jackson and Ernestine Hoskinson.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Fenwick (Joseph) of Cox's Creek, Angie Helton (Vince) of Shelbyville, Melissa Hornung of Elizabethtown, Steve Jackson (Julie) of Frankfort, Freddie Goodman of Mt. Washington and Cary Goodman (Phyllis House) of Indiana. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
