He was predeceased by: his parents, Pennywell Jones and Olive Gottschalk Hashagen; his former wife Helen Jones; and his sister Naomi VanZandt. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Williams Jones; his children, Robert Jones (Carol) of Cross Lanes and Marilynn Bodden (Chip) of Cox's Creek; his siblings, Ruth Telgheder (Bill) of New York and Louis Hashagen of New Mexico; and his stepdaughters, Dionne Milam of Bowling Green and Gayle Milam of Louisville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
