Patsy Lyon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patsy Lyon of Coxs Creek, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleman Mattingly and Gertrude Mattingly; and her siblings, Mary Agnes Helm, Joyce Ann Medley, Carol Kincer, John and Billy Coleman Mattingly.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lyon; her children, Karen Mattingly (Jeff) of Cox's Creek, Ricky Lyon (Tina) of Louisville and Lisa Pope (Marty) of Bardstown; her grandson Coleman Mattingly (Dannielle Gilkey) of Bardstown; and her siblings, Judy Blandford, Martha Hardesty and Patrick Mattingly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (6785 KY-52, Loretto, KY 40037).
