We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2022, at the age of 98, Maudie Belle Bell of Coxs Creek, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, James Akridge and Ed Bell; her grandson Caleb Bell; and her siblings, Johnny, Vernon, Paul, Russell, Lester Douglas, Lucille Scrogham, Bettie Sanders and Mamie Douglas.

She is survived by: her children, Eldon Akridge (Betty), Brian Bell (Joanne) and Debra Culver (Edwin); her foster children, Will Crews and Barbara Douglas; her sister Virginia Louise Douglas; her grandchildren, Robert (Marisha), Jennifer, Brianne and Aislinn; and her great grandchildren, Lexie, Declan and Abby.
