He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Leffel Taylor; his parents, Alexander Taylor and Margaree DeSpain Taylor; and his siblings, Alice Joyce Wallace, Wilma Jeffers, Joe and Jim Taylor.
He is survived by: his close friend Hilda Gaddie; his children, Bob Brinley (Jeanette) of Fisherville and Maryrose Nieves of Florida; his siblings, Donald Lee Taylor of Dallas, TX, Mary Self of Hodgenville and Norma Jean Snyder (Chuck) of Florida; his grandsons, Mitch Ricketts, Ruben Nieves and Caleb Brinley; his great grandchild K. C. Ricketts; his great great grandchild Rowan Ricketts; and his stepgranddaughter Janie Powell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
