He was predeceased by: his son Logan Thomas Fulkerson; his father John Thomas "J. T." Fulkerson Sr.; and his grandparents, Emmett, Catherine Fulkerson, Leslie and Pearl Moomey.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hardin Fulkerson; his children, Kimberly Dawn Chasteen (Kory) and John Thomas "Trey" Fulkerson III of Cox's Creek; his mother Doris Moomey Fulkerson; his siblings, Bill Houk (Vickie), Kathy Danner of Bardstown, Luann Summers (Howard) of Bardstown, Johnna Pettyjohn (Pete) of Versailles, Russell Fulkerson, Emmett "Clem" Karr, Willie Fulkerson and Marlin Robinson; and his brother-in-law Deputy Jerry Hardin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
